The IECEx Certified Facilities Program operated by BASEEFA has begun the process of assessing Repair Shops in the UK for their competancy to Overhaul and Repair Explosive Atmosphere Equipment . The EASA European & World Training Course for Responsible Persons and Operatives engaged in the Repair and Overhaul of Explosive Atmosphere Equipment, where candidates are 'Third Party' Assessed for Competency by Sira Environmental, under the Scheme Accredited by UKAS, to international standard ISO 17024, fullfills the requirement to demonstrat the Competency of Personnel as detailed in Annex 'B' of IEC 60079-19. A crucial requirement in qualifying a Service Facilitiy under the IECEx Certified Service Facilities Program.
